Job Summary

As an LPN Resident, you will work under the supervision of our Clinical Education Team, enhancing your nursing knowledge while providing critical care to patients. You will take part in managing clinical situations with the guidance of a Registered Nurse, ensuring high standards of patient care and adherence to hospital policies.

Essential Functions

• Collect and document patient data, assisting in the identification of patient needs and communicating effectively with the RN.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to contribute to patient care plans and refer to support services when necessary.
• Deliver quality care according to established standards, explaining procedures and providing discharge instructions.
• Record all patient care actions and any variations observed, with appropriate justifications.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and unit operations, addressing issues as they arise.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team effectiveness.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role is a non-management position reporting to a supervisor or manager.
