Dump Truck Operator

Skillforce is currently seeking skilled Dump Truck Operators for a commercial construction project in Baltimore, MD. This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension. Operators will be responsible for safely transporting materials to and from the jobsite. This position requires working 58 hours weekly (5/10s and 1/8) with pay at $19.67/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate dump trucks to haul soil, debris, aggregate, and other materials
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ensure loads are secured and transported within legal weight limits
• Maneuver trucks in tight or congested construction areas
• Communicate with Foreman and site leadership regarding load requirements and scheduling
• Maintain accurate delivery and haul logs
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
• Follow all company and jobsite safety regulations
• Assist with general labor tasks when required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of dump truck driving experience on commercial or civil construction projects
• Strong communication skills and attention to safety
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
• OSHA 10 required
