Director of Psychology, Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Hospital, Boston, MA

Tufts Medical Center in partnership with Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center is searching for a full time Director of Psychology for Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center in Boston, MA. We seek a highly trained professional who specializes in diagnosing and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. This is a Monday – Friday day position with no associated call. The successful Psychologist will be eligible for an academic appointment at the Tufts University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry at a rank to be determined by qualifications.

How you will impact patient care:

• Conduct psychological assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help clients address their specific challenges.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, maintain detailed client records, and stay current with advancements in psychological research and treatment modalities.

• Play a critical role in promoting mental health and well-being through assessment, therapy, and support.

• Train Doctoral students and eligible for an academic appointment in the Tufts University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry at a rank to be determined by qualifications.
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• PHD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology

• Eligible or Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in Massachusetts.

• Two (2) years of experience in a community mental health setting preferred

• Experienced in Forensic Psychology preferred.

• Experienced in Psychodiagnostic testing.

Location: Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center in Boston, MA which has a 60 bed capacity.
