Job Description

The Environmental Technician will be primarily responsible for repairing and calibrating environmental equipment while also developing strong relationships with customers. The role is divided into 60% technical work on the equipment and 40% customer service.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and repair environmental testing equipment.
• Perform data entry related to equipment calibration.
• Write detailed technical reports.
• Purchase equipment necessary for repairs.
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks.

Work Environment

The work environment is a small warehouse-like setting with one large open space accommodating 3-4 people at all times. It is business casual, with jeans acceptable, and offers a relaxed yet occasionally fast-paced atmosphere. The work schedule is from 8 : 15 am to 5 : 15 pm, with an hour-long lunch break, ensuring a total of 40 hours per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 / hr.
