NON-SURGICAL SPORTS MEDICINE
Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a BE/BC internal medicine or family practice physician with fellowship training in sports medicine to join the Division of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. The candidate selected will manage all aspects of nonsurgical musculoskeletal care. The candidate will treat a wide variety of patients, from collegiate athletes (the group covers several local universities), to adult weekend warriors, and to patients with other degenerative/arthritic conditions. Proficiency with diagnostic ultrasound and image-guided injections, including PRP, is required. The candidate will be based out offices at Memorial Hospital West and Memorial Hospital Miramar, working collaboratively with several orthopedic surgeons with varying subspecialties in the group. This is an office-based position with no inpatient, call, or weekend requirements.
This is a full-time employed position with the Division of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, part of the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
