Piping Engineer

Job Posting : Pipeline Engineer

This position will be based in the Crown Point, IN office. We seek an individual who is passionate about their work, eager to learn, and committed to excelling in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct pipeline design calculations, including hydraulic loss, pipe sizing, material selection, and specifications.
• Prepare technical documents and specifications to ensure accurate and comprehensive project deliverables.
• Review and develop pipeline alignments and routes, considering constructability, environmental and geotechnical conditions, utility, and other crossings.
• Perform calculations related to buried pipe design, external load analysis, and trenchless design methodologies.
• Develop engineering drawing packages and pipeline alignment sheets for design efforts involving gas and other pipeline systems.
• Conduct engineering site visits with experienced engineers to assess land features that influence pipeline route selection, constructability, environmental and geotechnical conditions, utility, and other crossings.
