Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal File Clerk to join our busy Family Law firm. This role plays a key part in keeping cases organized and ensuring attorneys and paralegals are fully supported throughout the litigation process.

The ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the firm’s legal files with precision
• Update and distribute the Case List on a regular basis
• Open and close cases in accordance with firm procedures
• Pull files as needed for Attorneys, Paralegals, and the Office Manager
• Prepare Hearing Files and Trial Binders ahead of scheduled hearings or trials
• Assist Paralegals with court filings, phone calls, and other administrative tasks as needed
• Perform additional clerical and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Family Law
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with office equipment and standard office procedures
• Proficiency with computer systems and office software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Professional attire required
