Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols at a retail or mall location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This is a driving post, where you will navigate the property, interact with guests, and offer exceptional customer service. Sat 07 : 00 AM - 11 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures and directions from management or emergency services.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors within the retail or mall environment.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance or information as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
