The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the management of the administrative aspects of the SSTARBIRTH Program, working closely with the Program Director to assure appointments and time-lines are kept, as well as representing SSTARBIRTH in a positive manner. Provides supervisory support to Administrative Coordinator.

Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate gathering of data, information and materials for Licensing, Grants and ReportsAssist in preparations to meet Licensing Requirements and InspectionsResearch available funding sources; i.e. grants, foundations, donationsAssist in preparation of grant applications and reportingResponsible for data entry into RIBHOLD, EARR, CCAP systemsServe as Liaison for DHS and trouble shoot issuesServe as Human Resource Department Representative for Sstarbirth employeesMaintain personnel filesResponsible for overseeing Petty Cash and the Checking AccountPerform duties of Recording Secretary as neededPerform receptionist and / or secretarial dutiesCoordinate repair of computer systems for facilityAssist Program Director as needed.Other duties as assigned.Experience and Skills :
Education & Experience
HS diplomaTwo years' experience in the field of administrative support work.High degree of tact, discretion and confidentiality.
Proficient in advanced word processing and management of files / records.Professional demeanor and ability to defuse sensitive situations / persons in a calm manner.Ability to self-direct in accomplishing the coordination and decision-making responsibilities with the ability to resolve issues within the scope of the position independently.Excellent organizational, prioritization, time and project management abilities, and a strong work ethic.Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.Job Benefits :
