Public Works Intern

Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our Public Works / Transportation team in our Brownsville, TX office. The Civil Engineering Intern will help with Public Works and Transportation projects.

What you will do :

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Public Works and Transportation projects
• Perform drafting CAD work
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
