Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) – Pre-School, Brentwood

Location : Brentwood

Hours : Part-time, 5 days per week

Driver essential

Start date : As soon as possible

Salary : Competitive, dependent on experience & qualifications

About the Role

A warm and welcoming pre-school in Brentwood is looking for a caring and motivated Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This is a part-time role across 5 days per week , perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s early learning and development.

You’ll play an important role in helping young children feel safe, happy, and engaged as they take their first steps in education.

Key Responsibilities

Support the learning and development of children aged 2–5 years, following the EYFS framework .

Plan and deliver fun, creative, and age-appropriate activities.

Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.

Ensure the environment is safe, nurturing, and stimulating.

Contribute to observations, assessments, and progress reports.

Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence in children.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).

✅ Experience working with young children in a nursery or pre-school setting.

✅ A kind, patient, and enthusiastic personality.

✅ Good knowledge of safeguarding and child development.

✅ A driver with access to a car (essential due to location).
