Summary

Must have Knowledge of Preventative maintenance on both truck and trailers, perform 90-day inspections and document all repairs and maintain all company vehicles with oil change, tune ups and brakes ect.

Must have knowledge of DOT requirements for trucks and trailers

Be able to repair and understand the following, but not limited to : Use of truck and trailers air system, air brakes, drum brakes, disc brakes and replacement, tires, hubs and seals, bearing, electrical (truck and trailer), fuel system, clutch and transmission repair, be able to problem solve and troubleshoot repairs, use of a computer and diagnostic equipment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have valid Drivers License.
