ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer to join our senior leadership team and drive strategic financial excellence while championing our member-centric mission. WHAT YOU’LL DO

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with enterprise objectives while balancing member value priorities
  • Lead enterprise financial management, risk assessment, and capital planning initiatives
  • Drive innovation through disciplined risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance
  • Provide strategic advisory across all business functions in a collaborative way to optimize organizational performance

Team Development & Organizational Excellence

  • Build and develop high-performing finance, accounting, and secondary market teams with a focus on long-term capability building
  • Drive strategic organizational change through effective cross-functional influence and collaboration
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment that reflects our organizational values
  • Mentor and develop finance and accounting professionals to support succession planning and growth

    • External Engagement & Communication

  • Deliver compelling presentations and translate complex financial concepts for varied audiences
  • Maintain strong industry and community presence as a thought leader
  • Serve as a key spokesperson at industry conferences, community board meetings, regulatory forums, and local business events
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders

    • WHAT YOU BRING

    Technical Excellence

  • Senior-level financial leader and advisor with credit union or banking experience preferred
  • Proven track record as a financial strategist and business partner with broad exposure to financial functions including accounting, finance, and capital markets
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks
  • Experience in analyzing and optimizing organizational financial performance

    • Leadership Experience

  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within highly engaged executive leadership teams
  • History of driving strategic initiatives while maintaining operational excellence

  • Experience at public speaking and representing organizations in community and industry events
  • Highly strategic and broad business leader and advisor
  • Authentic leadership style with proven ability to build relationships
