Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the social services department, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting

• Develop and implement programs and services to promote resident/patient well-being, independence, and quality of life

• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support

• Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and external partners

• Develop and manage budgets for social services programs and services

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address resident/patient needs

• Recruit, train, and supervise social services staff

• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for social services

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nursing, or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in social services in Long term Care

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards
