YOU'LL TACKLE:

As a Claims Advocate, you'll talk to clients and insurance companies by phone and email to keep the claims moving forward. When insurance offers come in, you'll review them carefully and negotiate with adjusters to make sure the payouts are fair. You'll read and check documents like policies, estimates, and invoices to make sure everything is accurate. You'll work closely with our project managers to support claims, and you'll keep everything organized and up to date in our CRM system. Meeting performance goals and keeping communication professional will be a big part of your day.

BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year(s) of experience handling property-casualty insurance claims
• Familiarity with CRM or claims-management software (e.g., Salesforce, Guidewire ClaimCenter)
• Experience with or formal training in negotiation tactics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret insurance policies, invoices, and estimates as well as work in a metrics-driven environment
• High emotional intelligence and professionalism
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously

Prior experience in restoration or insurance billing is a plus. A bachelor's degree is also preferred, but not required.

COMPENSATION & PERKS:

Pay: This Claims Advocate position pays $22 to $25 per hour.

Schedule: You'll work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in person at our Upland office. Overtime is available when needed.
