Position Summary : As an Occupational Health Practitioner, you will deliver preventive and acute care in clinical or onsite settings to protect workers' health and safety, especially in high-risk environments. They collaborate with employers to ensure compliance with health standards across various sectors, including corporate, industrial, government, and academic. The role operates under the supervision of a Collaborating Physician, as required by the PA Board of Nursing / Board of Medicine.

Essential functions, responsibilities :

• Working with safety professionals in developing and implementing health and safety programs.
• Working collaboratively with other safety and health professionals in developing disease prevention programs, such as smoking cessation, exercise, and healthy eating programs.
• Assessing, treating, and documenting all employee injuries and illnesses within the workplace.
• Observing and assessing the work environment with other safety professionals for potential dangers and hazards.
• Serving as a gatekeeper for healthcare services, including rehabilitation and disability matters.
• Counseling employees on physical and mental health issues and guiding them toward community resources and / or employee assistance programs.
• Other similar and / or related duties as assigned.
