Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range : $6,705 - $7,403 per month (Internal employees may be placed at a salary higher than the anticipated range as required by the collective bargaining agreement.)

Full CSU Classification Salary Range : $6,705 - $9,768 per month

• This is a full-time (equivalent to 40 hours per week), probationary, non-exempt position.
• This position is limited to internal, on-campus, stateside employees.

The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary

Under general supervision of the Assistant Director of Facilities Operations, the Supervising Painter is primarily responsible for supervising the Paint Shop consisting of skilled journey-level painters.

Key Qualifications

Work requires thorough knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the painting trade including painting, finishing, mud, and drywall.

Must be able to apply paints and finishes neatly and accurately.

Education and Experience

Preferred Skills :

Ability to maintain, input, and utilize a CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) to manage electronic work orders, provide estimates to a diverse clientele, and assign work to painters.
