We are seeking a Commercial Credit Officer to join our team! This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance, minimize risk, and optimize CoVantage's commercial lending portfolio. The Commercial Credit Officer leads the Commercial Credit Analyst team towards operational excellence. Join a team that takes pride in building strong relationships and helping businesses thrive! This individual will have the option to choose from our Antigo, De Pere, New Lenox, Suamico, or Wausau branches for their office.

CoVantage invests in our team members! This is a salaried position ranging from $104,223 to $156,333. The final remuneration will be determined in accordance with CoVantage Credit Union standard practices, reflecting the successful candidates' skills and experience. Benefits include a 401k employer match of up to 200%, a bonus of annual salary up to 8%, a generous employer HSA contribution, and paid time off for community service.

Job Duties :

• Leads commercial credit operations, overseeing underwriting, approval processes, and portfolio management,
• Executes CoVantage's credit risk strategy in alignment with its policy, culture, and mission.
• Establishes and enforces credit limits, exposure guidelines, and risk concentration standards.
• Evaluates high-risk and large credit requests.
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Communicates credit risk assessments and strategies to leadership, the board, and regulators.
• Guides the development of credit products, policies and risk assessment models.
