Acquisition Program Manager

Overview

Apogee is actively seeking a Program Manager to providesupport to the NC3 Contract and specifically the NCS division.

The AFNWC / NC3 Integration Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base MA with an operating location at Kirtland AFB NM. The NC3 Directorates mission is to provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO) the Deputy Director Deputy AFPEO NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions branches and programs. It consists of an Executive Section Engineering (EN) Financial Management (FM) Operations Management (OM) Information Protection (IP) Contracts (PK) Cyber Logistics (LG) the Program Execution Group (PEG) and Intelligence (IN).

The Strategic Communications Division (NCS) develops nuclear survivable terminals capable of communicating with the Milstar and Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) satellite constellations and future satellite constellations using both the Extremely High Frequency (EHF) and AEHF waveforms.

This is a full-time role at Hanscom AFB located in Bedford MA. This position offers telework approx. 2 days a week - subject to change per the customers discretion.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Acquisition Program Manager (APM) in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines.
• Staffs Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries (DAES) Monthly Activity Reports (MAR) and support program management and IMP / IMS reviews.
• Oversees the allocation of resources based on program requirements.
• Manages meetings calendars agendas and briefings including providing briefings of program status to senior management.
• Determines requirements; develops goals and objectives to accomplish program missions.
• Gather analyze and measure the effectiveness efficiency and productivity of acquisition sustainment or modification programs utilizing knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques.
• Ability to understand various funding types budgets and understand the Central Asset Management (CAM) process.
• Monitors mentors and develops lower-level (Senior Journeyman) Acquisition Support Specialists and other contractor support personnel in accordance with Govt PMO leadership lines of effort policy and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience :

Citizenship : Must be a US citizen

Clearance : Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance

Education : Bachelors degree

Years of Experience : Twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience

Understands the different funding types budgets and the Central Asset Management (CAM) process

Preferred Experience :

Certifications : DAWIA Advanced (formerly Level III) Equivalency in Program Management or Engineering & Technical Management

Education : Masters degree

Years of Experience : Ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience

Location : Hanscom AFB located in Bedford MA

Hybrid : This position offers telework approx. 2 days a week - subject to change per the customers discretion

Travel : CONUS travel up to 10% may be required
