📋 Job Details

Position : LVN / LPN – Correctional

Facility : Denver City Jail

Organization : Denver Health

Location : 490 W Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80204

Start Date : 12 / 20 / 2025

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day 5x8-hour (06 : 00 AM – 02 : 30 PM)

Weekends : Required (schedule to include weekend coverage)

📅 Requirements & Qualifications

Experience : Minimum 1 year (Correctional Care preferred)

Certifications : BLS (required)

Background : Must pass Denver Sheriff background check before start

RTO : 5 days or less (NO holiday RTO allowed)

COVID-19 Vaccine : Required (medical / religious exemptions only)

🧠 Skills Required

Behavioral Health : crisis intervention, bipolar & psychotic disorders, trauma-related disorders

Medication Administration : oral, IM, SQ, NG / G-tube, trach care

Skin & Wound Care, Vital Signs, Isolation Precautions

Orthopedics : cast care, ambulation, prosthetics

Emergency Response, Foley Catheter insertion, Phlebotomy, IV therapy

Patient Health Documentation, Vaccine Administration
