Tri State CPA Firm Looking for a Senior Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to support our clients by managing day-to-day financial activities, completing accurate monthly close processes, and providing clear, reliable financial reporting. This role is ideal for an experienced bookkeeping professional who enjoys detail-oriented work, thrives in a structured environment, and takes pride in producing error-free results for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze client financial data with accuracy and attention to detail
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• Complete month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments, invoicing, and collections
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the chart of accounts
• Ensure proper account classifications and coding
• Communicate with clients to answer financial questions and provide clarity on reports
• Maintain confidentiality of client financial information at all times
• Other duties as assigned
