The Electrician HVAC will install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain various electrical systems, controls, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain main electrical distribution panels, lugs, and connections on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Install building systems and components to include supporting Panel and / or Main Disconnect.
• Maintain amperage loads on HVAC equipment and other installed building equipment to ensure accurate loads are present at supporting Panel or Main Disconnect.
• Maintain conduit and electrical assemblies and components for HVAC supporting Panel or Main Disconnect
• Install, repair or replace, modify, loads, and test new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, panels, switches, breakers, and controls.
• Use and maintain various types of hand and / or power tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, soldering irons, cable pullers, hydraulic benders, and pipe threading machines.
• Ensure work orders when complete are properly filled out and returned to work management
• Support the project Safety Plan through personal involvement in all aspects of safety, including training and attention to the adherence to safety requirements pertaining to particular trades or skills.
• This position may be designated as mission-critical. Mission-critical personnel are defined as those required to meet the Installation’s safety (including inclement weather for snow and ice control operations ) and security needs during lockdown conditions.
• This position may be part of an emergency management / response team as required by the company to meet contract requirements.
• Other duties as assigned
