Data Engineer

Overview

Data Engineer, Denver, CO : Responsible for integration of factory data and ERP data into on-premises and cloud-based IoT tools to support the collection, analysis, and real time data consumption. Design, implement, and operationalize data pipelines to support the data lifecycle for factory IIoT data. Design, develop, and deliver platforms and tools for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of factory IIoT data. Support the development and delivery of a Unified Data Model for factories and the enterprise. Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing and business stakeholders to ensure data validity and platform buy-in. Support delivery of a master data solution for IIoT and enterprise data. Design and deliver solutions to support real-time factory data streaming, events & condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance. Structure data sets for predictive models, clean data, and feed it through ML models. Work closely with 3rd party data architects and internal data team to understand the data ecosystem and communicate with business unit partners. Provide training and support the technical development of fellow team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data / computer science, an engineering discipline, or related.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one object-oriented language (Python, Java, C#, etc.).
• Experience with data warehousing in any cloud framework (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Detail oriented self-starter, with a growth mindset and a passion for data.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience with Python data structures and data science libraries.
• Experience with telemetry or time-series data sources.
• Familiar with pipeline automation and unit testing.
• Familiar with data streaming / integration tools (message brokers, WebSockets, REST APIs, etc.).
• May require occasional travel to listed Denver locations.

Compensation and Benefits
