Critical Care Physician - Open ICULocation: Midland, TXSetting: Inpatient / ICUEmployment Type: Full-Time, permanent positionPosition OverviewA Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Critical Care Physician is needed to join a large, multidisciplinary group serving the Permian Basin region. This position features a block schedule, competitive compensation, bonuses, relocation support, and full benefits in a busy Open ICU environment.Position Highlights• 7 on / 7 off schedule• 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm)• Open ICU• Large multispecialty physician and APP team• Cerner EMR• Serving a regional catchment area of 450,000 residentsResponsibilities• Provide full-spectrum critical care coverage• Perform ICU procedures including:- Thoracentesis- Chest tube placement (surgical & small-bore)- Bronchoscopy- Central line placement- Arterial & dialysis line placement• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered ICU careQualifications• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine• Texas medical license (or eligibility)• Minimum 2 years hospitalist or ICU experience preferred• Proficiency in ICU proceduresCompensation & Benefits• Competitive salary (60-75% MGMA based on experience)• Residency stipend available• Sign-on bonus• Start bonus• Relocation assistance• CME allowance• Paid malpractice coverage• Comprehensive benefits packageCommunity Highlights• Fast-growing West Texas city• Regional population 450,000• Major airport with nonstop access to multiple U.S. cities• Family-friendly, welcoming community• Affordable cost of living• Strong local economy
