Patent Litigation Counsel

A company is looking for an Associate Vice President - Assistant General Patent Counsel - IP Litigation.

Key Responsibilities

Set strategy for and manage pre-litigation and litigation IP matters while advising senior leadership

Lead and manage outside counsel activities and coordinate internal efforts for IP litigation requirements

Advise senior management on global IP litigation matters and maintain engagement with key external parties

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's and J.D. degrees (or equivalent)

Active license to practice law

A minimum of 10 years of experience in patent litigation within the pharma and / or biotech sectors

Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline is preferred

Experience managing IP litigation in a law firm or in-house within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
