We are looking for a talented attorney to join the AWS Legal team supporting infrastructure technology (development, supply chain, security and procurement) that all AWS cloud services and customers rely upon. You will work directly with business teams to develop and launch new hardware, manage its global supply chain, and resolve security, compliance, and other risk issues related to AWS infrastructure. You will also help identify, counsel on, and mitigate a wide array of commercial, operational, regulatory, and compliance issues.

This position will be based in Seattle, WA.

Key job responsibilities

• Structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial and technology-related agreements, including development, supply, manufacturing services, software licensing, services, and other bespoke agreements.
• Supporting and directly advising business partners on legal, commercial, operational, regulatory, and other risks.
• Developing, advising on, and implementing vendor engagement, contractual, and negotiation strategies.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to identify and resolve commercial, operational, compliance, regulatory, security, safety, legal, and customer / vendor issues.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
