Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients

Maintain productivity goals while documenting account actions and communicating issues

Assist with special projects and participate in meetings and training to enhance job knowledge

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred

1-4 years of medical claims and / or hospital collections experience

Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance

Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office applications

Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
