Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility based in Everett, WA 98201. This is a 3+ month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Duration : 3+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Payrate : $27-29 / hr. on w2 / Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Shift : Typically, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM.

Work Days : 8 am to 5 pm

Job Responsibilities :

• Rooming patients : taking vitals, updating medical history, and preparing for provider visit
• Assisting providers during exams and minor procedures
• Administering medications and injections as directed
• Performing point-of-care testing (e.g., blood glucose, rapid strep)
• Managing patient flow and scheduling follow-ups
• Documenting in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Handling phone calls and prescription refills
• Maintaining clean and stocked exam rooms
• Ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols
