Advisory Revenue Accounting Manager

Position Overview

Reporting to the AVP of Advisory Revenue, the Accounting Manager will lead accounting activities supporting advisory revenue, regulatory reporting, and related expense transactions. This role acts as a key technical resource for revenue recognition and regulatory accounting while managing a team and advancing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reviews

Serve as a subject matter expert for advisory revenue accounting, regulatory reporting requirements, and system-related impacts

Support business initiatives such as acquisitions, new product launches, and accounting system enhancements

Manage, coach, and develop Associates, Staff, and Senior Accountants

Collaborate with leadership on consolidations, financial analysis, and external audit support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred

5+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting background preferred

Strong understanding of internal controls and audit readiness

Series 99 (or qualifying securities license) required within 120 days of hire

Financial services and / or broker-dealer experience strongly preferred

Experience with Oracle Financials and advanced Excel skills a plus
