Job Title : Dialysis Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Dialysis Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 hours (06 : 30 - 19 : 00) Experience : 1 year of acute dialysis experience required License : SC license or Compact license required Certifications : BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have : Open to first-time travelers Description : Job Description Position : Dialysis RN Days Shift : 3x12 Days 06 : 30 to 19 : 00 (Monday-Saturday) Patient Ratios : 1 : 2 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend On-call Requirement : Yes, 2 weekday PM call shifts every 4 weeks and 1 PM call shift every 4 weeks Floating Requirement : No Patient Age Groups : Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics Daily Census : 20-25 patients Interdisciplinary Support : Interpretation Services, Rapid Response Teams Patient Diagnoses : End-Stage Renal Disease, Acute Kidney Injury, Transplant-Kidney (pre / post) Special Procedures / Unit Details : Adult and Pediatric Hemodialysis; Peritoneal Dialysis Special Equipment : Fresenius 2008T; Mobile Reverse Osmosis Machines Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November each year. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Local candidates will be accepted at a reduced rate. Candidates are encouraged to submit proof of their application for a license if it is pending. All candidates should not have any time off planned that will affect pre-start compliance. Previous perm staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler. Module hours will be included in total hours and are to be completed prior to start. Ensure to include all relevant requests for time off when submitting.
