This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness. / ppLocation : These positions will be hybrid remote. Candidates will be required to work onsite as needed. Preferred candidates will be located near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) or work in Huntsville, AL. / ppPrimary Responsibilities : / pulliDesign and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions across AWS and / or Azure / liliDevelop cloud strategy and roadmaps aligned with organization objectives and technical requirements / liliEvaluate emerging cloud technologies and assess their potential impact on organizational goals / liliDrive adoption of DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks / liliOptimize application performance and reliability in cloud environments / liliDesign secure cloud architectures implementing zero-trust principles and defense-in-depth strategies / liliEnsure compliance with industry standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.) and regulatory requirements / liliImplement identity and access management solutions and security monitoring frameworks / liliFacilitate customer onboarding and implement a consistent pathway to cloud adoption / liliManage and optimize AWS, Azure, Google, and / or Oracle environments, networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, and SQL systems. / liliImplement and maintain Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, and Guacamole to support DevSecOps practices. / liliContainerize applications to enhance scalability and deployment efficiency. / liliSupport the design and development of Shared Services. / liliConfigure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems. / liliEstablish and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring their performance and reliability. / liliPrepare detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processes. / liliConduct security assessments and remediate vulnerabilities in cloud environments / liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams including development, operations, security, and product management / liliCreate reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards for cloud implementations / li / ulpTechnical Leadership : / pulliPartner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions / liliPresent architectural designs and recommendations to executive leadership / liliMentor, guide and supervise development teams on cloud-native application design and deployment / liliLead architectural reviews and provide guidance on complex technical decisions / li / ulpMinimum Qualifications : / pulliBachelors Degree and twelve (12) years or more of experience; Masters and ten (10) years or more of experience. Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree / liliMust have a Public Trust / liliUS citizenship required / liliCertifications : CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2) / liliExcellent customer service skills, with experience working in a customer-facing position / liliAdministration experience with cloud-based applications (MS O365, SharePoint, Azure AD, AWS) / liliExperience administering Windows Server, and related services / liliStrong understanding Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML and the standards, procedures, and processes / liliExcellent verbal and written communications skills. / liliExperience with Ansible, AWS console, Elastic, AWS, Azure, Jira, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket and various cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings / liliExperience onboarding customer log-data from cloud platforms to on-premise or cloud-based analysis environments such as Elastic or Splunk / li / ulpPreferred Qualifications : / pulliExperience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1 / liliExperience with Zero Trust Architecture / liliCloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle clouds / li / ulpCome break things (in a good way).
