- Hourly Pay Range : $31.84 - $49.66. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

- Hours : Monday - Friday on school attendance days; 7 : 45 am - 3 : 45 pm
What you will do :
Participate as member of multidisciplinary team, collaborating with team members for students specialized medical review evaluations, program modifications, current levels of functioning, and educational planning. The purpose of the Medical Review is to determine if any known or unknown medical or health issues may be present and impacting a student's ability to achieve academically. The individual components of the evaluation must be performed by qualified personnel. School assignments will be per Supervisor.Provide consultation and support to Assistant School Nurses for student healthcare plans at assigned schools.Documentation of professional medical review reports and processMaintenance of professional and compliant nursing documentation processParticipation in IDPH and ISBE compliance program in conjunction with Assistant School Nurse at assigned schools.Coordination of educational planning with external healthcare providers including referrals and follow up care.Attend departmental meetings as scheduled.Develop communication with Assistant School Nurse at assigned schools, addressing areas of challenge as well as implementing current nursing trends and practice in schools.Participate in district wide hearing and vision screening program, assisting also in followup to hearing and vision screening referrals.
Responsible for maintaining current licensure, PEL-SN certification and CPR / AED certification.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by SupervisorWhat you will need :
Education : Bachelor's Degree in NursingCurrent PEL-SN endorsement with Illinois R.O.E., or candidate currently enrolled in approved PEL-SN program in internship phase with endorsement pendingLicense : Current Illinois Registered Nurse LicensureCertification : Current CPR certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required and Hearing and Vision Technician certification, preferredBenefits (For full time or part time positions) :
