Programmer / Electrical Engineer

Job Description Job Description We are a group of Electrical Engineers and System Integrators that specialize in the design and implementation of industrial control systems. We are unique from a standard software engineering job in that you will be working on real life processes that monitor and control industrial systems. This includes time outside the office on-site assisting in start-ups and bringing these systems to life. We are seeking a Programmer and an Electrical Engineer to become an integral part of our team! We work in a unique and exciting industry that makes impacts on the physical world through automation. These position(s) require good communication skills and ability to work without constant oversight. Qualifications Education : BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science preferred. Relevant experience or other associates or degrees considered. Programmer Experience : Previous experience in programming, software development, or other related fields. Knowledge of Java, Python, or other programming languages, Fundamental knowledge of MySQL and MSSQL, Python, Jython and Java; Oracle, and SQL Server. UI and Web Development a plus, but not required. Knowledge of industrial controls systems preferred (PLC's, SCADA, HMI), not required and can be taught on the job. Ability to self-teach and be self-motivated. Electrical Engineer Experience : Previous experience in Electrical Engineering, motor controls, control schematics, lighting design, network design, specifications and backup power generation. Knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 820. 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering required . PE not required but encouraged. Candidate should be willing to pursue PE license. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
