BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Collections Specialist in Phoenix AZ.

Expected Contract Duration : 12 months

Job Type : (40 HOURS WEEKLY], [Direct-Hire], [Hybrid]

Pay Range : $19 / hr on W2 to $24 / hr on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Description :

As a Collections Team member, you'll coordinate the activities of collecting delinquent payments for auto loan accounts from customers. The main function of a collector is to locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts to solicit payment. A typical collector is responsible for receiving payment, preparing statements to the credit department if the customer doesn't respond, and keeping records of collection

Skills Required :

Good analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.

Intermediate MS Office skills in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to interface work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Other Skills and Abilities Knowledge of and Compliant with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, local, state, and federal collection laws.

Note that this role requires approximately 5 weeks of hybrid training schedule.

Training (approx. 5 weeks) :

In total, 5 weeks of training

The first 3 weeks of training : 6 AM - 3 PM MST (Monday-Friday)

2 weeks of Nesting 5 AM - 2 PM MST (Monday-Friday)

You will need to work in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week throughout training.

You must satisfactorily complete all training and pass the final training exam(s) with a minimum passing score of 80%.

Once training is complete, the role will require the following schedule, minimum 2-3 days in the office per week :

Post Training Shift Schedule :

Monday - Thursday : 11 am - 8 pm or 12 noon - 9 pm MST (hours differ based on daylight saving time)

Friday : 9 am - 6 pm or 10 am - 7 pm MST (hours differ based on daylight saving time)

Saturday : 7 am -11 am or 8 am-12 pm or MST (Rotation) and (hours differ based on daylight saving time)
