Senior Accountant

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in accounting operations and financial management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with strong analytical abilities and a proven track record in overseeing critical accounting processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage month-end close procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are properly balanced.
  • Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  • Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations in all accounting practices.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvement.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably at a senior level.
  • Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance.
  • Expertise in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
  • Experience with bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
  • Familiarity with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
