You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and monitor activity across assigned areas. You will communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, document observations, and respond professionally to requests for assistance. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and / or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing as permitted by post orders and site rules.
  • Monitor access control points, verify identification and / or credentials, and document visitor and contractor entry and exit in accordance with location requirements.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports, logs, and shift documentation, including observations of hazards, suspicious activity, and / or policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized access through visible presence and communication.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A TSA Issued TWIC is required.
  • A State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
