Laboratory Courier

The Laboratory Courier is responsible for providing timely courier service in order to meet St. Luke's Health System's and affiliates' needs.

• Picks up and delivers patient records, supplies, medications, lab blood specimens, body specimens or bank bags as assigned or requested.

• Follows and completes assignments as instructed in the safest and most efficient manner.

• Delivers and picks up items to the central drop off or pick-up points assigned to each location.

• Follows assigned routes, not to deviate from preset routes unless assigned by supervisor.

• Communicates any delays and or issues to supervisor immediately.

• Maintains service and cleanliness of delivery van or vehicle.

• Maintains records of receipts and expenses to allow for adequate budget preparation.

• Complies with established personal protective equipment requirements necessary for protection against exposure to blood and other potentially infectious body fluids.

• Must be able to lift 25-50LB

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: No Education Required.

• Experience: 0 years' experience.

• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License.
