Senior Tax Manager

Description

We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to oversee corporate tax compliance and annual income tax provisions for our organization in Fremont, California. This role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure regulatory adherence while optimizing tax-related processes.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and oversee U.S. federal, state, and international income tax returns prepared by external firms
• Support quarterly and annual global tax provisions for the Japanese parent company
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams in the U.S. and India
• Manage U.S. sales tax, VAT, and GST filings
• Review transfer pricing calculations and intercompany arrangements on a quarterly / annual basis
• Assist accounting with annual statutory tax provision reviews
• Lead U.S. federal, state, and international tax planning and implement tax strategies
• Manage responses to IRS, state, and international audits and notices
• Stay current with tax legislation and update practices accordingly
• Provide cross-functional support and assist with special projects as needed
