Summary : The CT Technologist is responsible for working within the established guidelines of the Imaging Services as assigned. The CT Technologist is expected to understand and support the Mission and Vision of St. Luke's Hospital. As a professional the CT Technologist is responsible for carrying out the philosophy and objectives established by the Board of Directors and the Management team. Foremost among these responsibilities are strictly adhering to detail in the technical performance of radiology procedures, solving practical and analytical problems, resolving conflict, and implementing constructive change.
Responsibilities :
Performs careful and accurate work in any technical area as assigned.Performs procedural exams within specified turnaround time for assigned area and assures procedural exam guidelines are strictly adhered to, complies with exam procedure technical factors and protocols in consultation with radiologist.Support and perform CT exams within guidelines of the Imaging Gently Campaign.Administers contrast agents according to procedure guidelines and states correct flow rates utilizing power injector.Documents all necessary information in the performance of technical procedures, including adequate history and quality control.Consistently demonstrates attention to detail in following protocol for patient identification, patient history, exam, image marking, and labeling.Documents pregnancy appropriately for females of child bearing age.About Acruex Health

Requirements
Requirements :
Must have current permit issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health.Must have ARRT certification as a Radiographer.Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.Annually completes CT and Fluoroscopic Safety education.Clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.Must have appropriate training for the modality assigned.Experience in computer systems is desirable.BLS Certification.Benefits
