Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Survey Field Technician to join our team in South Florida. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting land surveying operations by assisting field crews with data collection, equipment setup, and site preparation. Responsibilities

• Assist field crews in data collection, equipment setup, and site preparation.

• Operate basic survey tools and perform physical tasks such as lifting, digging, and carrying equipment.

• Maintain supplies and equipment to ensure efficient surveying operations.

• Support diverse land surveying projects and contribute to successful outcomes.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions.

• Capacity to follow directions and perform physical tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Valid driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with survey terminology and basic math skills.

• Experience with construction or civil engineering environments.

• Knowledge of total station, topographic surveys, and GPS.

• Experience working in the surveying industry is a plus.

Work Environment

The position is field-based, full-time, with outdoor work in varying weather and terrain conditions. Steel toe boots are required. The role involves travel depending on project location, primarily in the Florida Everglades. You will meet with your Crew Chief and drive to project sites. The position reports to the Survey Party Chief or Field Coordinator. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37000.00 - $47840.00/yr.
