Global Quality Specialist

Albemarle is hiring for a Global Quality Specialist. This position is hybrid (3-days per week in office) and located in Charlotte, NC.

What You Will Do

Lead standardization, harmonization and implementation of quality related systems including SAP-QM, and quality workflows and processes at all global sites in collaboration with site Quality Assurance teams and other stakeholders.

SAP Quality Management Global Process Owner - responsible for process standardization, optimization, and adoption; including master data governance process, inspection process, certificate of analysis process, quality notification, among others, in Quality Management Module - SAP system.

Develop training materials and lead training implementation within the organization on the quality systems and processes, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Develop and manage continuous improvement initiatives related to customer experience.

Propose, develop, standardize and implement quality tools, processes and enhancements to automate routine tasks.

Develop and maintain databases and dashboards to monitor, consolidate and improve Customer Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Quality and Quality Standard Performance.

Measure effectiveness of optimized systems using data-driven metrics.

Lead and practice principles of Albemarle's culture and value system.

What You Bring

Required :

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related field with 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing and quality management.

Working knowledge of SAP-Quality Management and ISO 9001.

Demonstrated project execution, organizational, planning, and time management skills.

Results-driven; action oriented approach with an operating style that fosters high expectations.

Data-based decision making, problem solving and prioritization skills.

Strong cultural sensitivity to manage relationships with people from all cultures.

Creative thinking, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the courage to bring new ideas and concepts to fruition.
