Registered Dental Hygienist

Our solo practitioner General Dentistry office in Sugarhouse is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join us in providing our patients with high-quality care. Position is 3 days a week Monday through Wednesday. Single column. 1hour Hygeine Apptointments. Hours are:

• Monday 7 am - 4 pm
• Tuesday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
• Wednesday 8 am - 5 pm.

PTO and Paid Holidays available

Hourly pay rate will be dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
• Take and develop dental x-rays using Dexis imaging technology
• Assess and record patients' oral health status
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
• Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments as needed
• Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
• Update and maintain patient records using Dentrix
• Collaborate with the dentist to develop treatment plans for patients

Qualifications

Experience (Preferred)

Licensing:

• Current Utah Dental Hygienist License (Required)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (Required)
