Job Description :

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Production Planning & Scheduling Business Owner ARP to join our Process Excellence Warehouse team in Mobile Alabama.

In a period of significant growth and ramp-up this role is crucial to ensuring our final assembly lines (FALs) and central teams can achieve their production targets. As a key liaison you will identify process bottlenecks and develop agile pragmatic solutions to drive planning adherence and overall supply chain performance. This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives on solving complex problems and can influence change across a global organization.

We are a transnational team of specialized Engineers in Supply Chain & Logistics with diverse backgrounds in terms of experience education and skills that are based in Hamburg Toulouse and Mobile. We as PIXLW ( Process Excellence Warehouse Team) are the central team for standards projects & strategy for all Airbus Commercial Warehouses worldwide. Our area of responsibility encompasses the Warehouses in Germany France Spain UK China and the US. We provide agile and pragmatic methodologies to improve the ways of working. We are also at the heart of the Transformation of the Planning Tools processes and data management.

Your Challenges :

Primary Responsibilities :

1.-Business Owner ARP (70%)

As a Business Owner you will be responsible for the governance compliance and ROI of our planning tools and processes.

Work closely with the Plan and Schedule Production community to ensure that new gap requests are clearly described and validated. You will be accountable to assess the compliance and perfect match between ARP evolution and process .01.

Exchange and align on business requirements with Business Owners and focal points from other functions mainly Manufacturing Engineering Supply Logistics Quality and Finance for gap requests impacting several functions

Analyze the Business impacts and establish proper risk mitigation plans.

Prepare GAP Analysis AS-IS and T0-BE implementation @ G5.

Animate the Business Community : You will contribute to the design phase to ensure good business understanding of the requirements.

Participate effectively in the definition prioritization and planning of new developments with the SAFe development teams by assessing and providing business value (Business Improvement / Solution Improvement classification). You will participate in all ceremonies.

Support the business acceptance tests of new developments (content results) and finally validate the solutions provided according to the need.

Run proper communication and engagement of the relevant functions and validate the corresponding trainings content.

Support the process acceptance and impact analysis.

You will work closely with other PIXP Business Owners (France UK Spain Germany and also run mode).

2.- Plan- and Schedule Production : customer support / focal point (30%)

Driving Operational Excellence : Actively engage with local planning and supply chain teams to pinpoint and resolve pain points and process bottlenecks.

Standardizing Planning Processes : Ensure the convergence of all Master Production Scheduling and Demand Monitoring routines to a consistent standard across programs.

Facilitating Collaboration : Build and maintain strong links with key supply chain stakeholders (logistics transport procurement) and foster a strong planning community through dedicated events and digital platforms.

Ensuring Data Accuracy : Support the consolidation and verification of key performance indicators (KPIs) like On-Time Adherence (OTA) and On-Time Delivery (OTD) ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Leading Strategic Initiatives : Ensure alignment with major transformation projects like Optiflow and ARP and actively promote the exchange of best practices across the organization.

Process Governance : Lead the creation maintenance and surveillance of all Planning & scheduling industrial processes and methods. Be accountable for managing audit findings and implementing long-term corrective actions.

Transformation Leadership : Guide and oversee involvement in major transformation projects including the ARP project EWM ensuring robust and effective deployment.

Your Boarding Pass :

Bachelors degree in Manufacturing / Supply Chain or a related discipline

Masters degree (Preferred)

10 years of work experience including 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management or Project Management.

A solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain manufacturing processes and production management.

Demonstrated experience leading lean / continuous improvement projects with tangible results. You should have a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and challenging the status quo.

Operational experience in implementing and optimizing industrial systems from the conception phase to process management.

Proven experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams including financial aspects

Hands-on experience with SAP is essential. Extended knowledge required

APICS certification is highly desirable

Travel : able to travel independently and at short notice monthly

Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents) : able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces daily

Personal Protective Equipment required : Required PPE includes but is not limited to Safety Shoes Safety Glasses Hearing Protection Respirators / Masks and / or Protective Gloves as required by site and / or customer site

Administrative position only PPE required : Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visit appropriate hearing / eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor
