A dedicated School Social Worker is sought for a K-12 school in Bolingbrook, IL, for the school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students emotional, social, and academic growth while contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities include :

• Providing individual and group counseling sessions to students.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
• Conducting assessments to determine student needs and develop tailored support strategies.
• Addressing challenges such as bullying, truancy, social adjustment, and family-related issues impacting students educational experiences.
• Facilitating communication among the school, families, and community resources.
• Assisting in crisis intervention and conflict resolution within the school setting.
