Job Title: Clinical Research Manager
Job Description
The Clinical Research Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of clinical research at the site, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate study activities, including protocol feasibility assessments, budgeting, recruitment, screening, enrollment, and participant retention.
- Manage clinical trial systems (CTMS), study documentation, data collection, and regulatory paperwork to ensure smooth study execution and compliance.
- Regularly meet with leadership to review study metrics, financials, and regulatory requirements, ensuring proactive management of operational aspects.
- Lead and manage a team of Clinical Research Coordinators, Nurses, and Assistants, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement SOPs and quality control measures to maintain high standards of research operations.
- Address staff performance and provide constructive feedback, working closely with HR and leadership to resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with leadership and investigators to assess new research opportunities and initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication within the team and resolve any operational challenges in a constructive manner.
- Provide staff coverage as needed and support in various office-related tasks.
Essential Skills
- Demonstrated experience in clinical trials and familiarity with industry regulations.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in interpreting policies, processes, and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technologies.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- RN, Nurse Practitioner License, or PA-C, CCRP certification preferred.
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality.
Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Fountain Valley, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
