A company is looking for a Technical Writer to create and edit technical documentation for the defense-aerospace sector.
Key Responsibilities
Write, rewrite, and edit various technical documents to ensure clear communication
Acquire subject knowledge through interviews and research to support documentation efforts
Oversee the preparation of illustrative materials and conduct quality reviews of documentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 4-6 years of professional experience, or 2-4 years of experience with a related Master's degree
2-4 years of experience in acquiring and verifying technical subject matter content
2-4 years of experience managing technical writing projects from planning to delivery
Proficiency in XML authoring, MS Office, MS Word, and Acrobat Authoring Tools
Ability to write highly technical content for manuals related to electronic and mechanical equipment
