Description

The Des Moines Renaissance Savery Hotel, managed by StepStone Hospitality , is currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate contributes to a positive and collaborative work environment while ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial transactions.

  • Post all payments into the accounting computer systems.
  • Research all payments over thirty days late and any other problem accounts.
  • Produce accounts receivable summary report as needed.
  • Research any guest requests for folios, overcharges, etc.
  • Count and prepare daily cash drops for bank deposits.
  • Complete daily income journal.
  • Assist Controller as directed.
  • Produce and maintain reports as directed.

Requirements

  • Minimum lifting of 10 pounds.
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
  • Hearing, writing, typing.
  • Minimum pulling of 10 pounds.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
