Mechanical Estimator

gpac, a 30+ years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the Mechanical space. Our client offers a wide range of both sheet metal and mechanical services, committed to outstanding customer service and execution with over 60 years of experience. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join their team. This is an amazing opportunity for individuals with 5+ years of Mechanical estimating experience in commercial projects, specifically in HVAC and Plumbing. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work in a team environment, be organized, detailed, a problem solver, and have experience bidding up to $30 million.

Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates for commercial projects
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members
- Review project plans and specifications to determine material and labor requirements
- Analyze and evaluate subcontractor quotes- Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction process

Position Essential Job Functions:
- Provide accurate and detailed estimates
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Meet project deadlines and deliverables
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices

Position Skills:
- 5+ years of Mechanical estimating experience
- Proficiency in HVAC and Plumbing systems
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities
