- Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory as the ability to secure a government-issued security clearance is necessary.
- Possession of an active Secret security clearance is preferred.
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software design principles, especially in high-concurrency and distributed systems.
- Experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages, such as C/C++ or Java, is advantageous.
- Knowledge in multithreading, memory management, or performance optimization in intricate environments is beneficial.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Ada for intricate systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features, ensuring proper system integration and scalability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for enhanced performance and efficiency in complex contexts.
- Write and maintain thorough documentation for software applications, covering system architecture and design specifications.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Keep updated with industry trends and advancements in new technologies, particularly concerning complex systems.
- Occasionally undertake light travel and off-hours testing may be required, including 2nd or 3rd shifts.
