The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for maintaining Insight Globals Facility Clearance License, implementing the U.S. Governments National Industrial Security Program, and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. The successful candidate will interface with all levels of corporate leadership, Client, and Government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with CFR 32, Part 117, National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM).
The position requires a self?motivated candidate that can work in a team environment with minimal direction. The candidate will partner with our Sales teammates, conduct security self?inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, manage Insight Globals Insider Threat Program, and implement security measures to meet regulatory requirements. The FSO must possess the confidence to make critical security decisions concerning high?value contracts and to implement security workflow processes that will complement our business model.

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM
- Accomplish required internal security self?inspections and Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)/Customer Security Assessments
- Demonstrated knowledge of Department of Energy (DOE) security regulations.
- Ensure satisfactory or higher ratings for annual performance audits conducted by the DCSA/Customers.
- Provide leadership in managing a security team and knowledge of Sales processes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of FOCI restrictions, mitigation agreements and operations under DCSA directed agreements.
- Manage all Security administrative actions (e.g., personnel clearance processing, visitor control, security?related investigations)
- Assist in the development of various education & training materials, administer security indoctrinations and debriefings, and maintain appropriate records.
- Conduct internal security investigations, coordinate, and submit reports to external agencies, as required.
- Investigate security incidents, document appropriately and recommend corrective actions as well as potential disciplinary actions and ensure program/Security management is included in reportable actions.
- Will serve as the Insider Threat Program Security Officer and manage Insight Globals Insider Threat Program
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum of 8 years security?relevant work experience
- Candidate must currently maintain a minimum Top Secret level DOD Personnel Security Clearance and DOE Q Clearance
- Capable of producing policy and procedure documents
- Working knowledge of NISS, NBIS, e?QIP and SWFT
- Must be well organized, self?motivated, willing to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize tasking and perform in a multi?tasked and dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written), customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient competency level with Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Certificated DCSA Facility Security Officer, Non?Possessing Facility
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, detail oriented.
- Ability to read and interpret DOD regulations and apply Industry Standards
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management, including succinctly delivering specialized knowledge to assist decision makers.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data and statistics and to apply concepts of basic calculations.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or critical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
